Giving Back
At Mira Vista Dental, we believe in the importance of Giving Back to our communities through donations of time and money. We thought you might like to know what is important to us and encourage you to donate to charities of your choice to help make the world a better place.
Katie Redman, Hygienist - My favorite charity is America's Toothfairy. Tooth decay is the number one
childhood disease in the United States and it is 100% preventable. Every
year, they have a program called Trick or Treat for America's Toothfairy and
children collect money instead of candy so toothbrushes and fluoride can be
given to kids who can't afford it.

I am proud to support the Military. My grandfathers both served during WWII. One was a naval airman in the Pacific and the other trouble shot problems along the assembly lines of the B2 Bomber here in Fort Worth. Two uncles and my brother served during other conflicts. Currently my nephew is in the Corp of Cadets at Texas A&M University and my niece is a Cadet at the US Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. I proudly support the Wounded Warriors, Homes for our Troops, USA Cares and the Paralyzed Veterans of America. I encourage you to support our military, both active and retired.

A charity that is near and dear to me is the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This disease affects millions of Americans and is quite debilitating yet it seems to take a back seat to other national charities. It has affected me and my family personally. I enjoy supporting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society through direct donations and rider sponsorships in their MS150 bike rides nation wide.
