Dr. Greg Ellis
Hello. My name is Greg Ellis. I am the owner and dentist at Mira Vista Dental. I was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and moved to Texas with my family in July of 1976 when I was 8 years old. I am proud to be an American citizen.
Fort Worth has been my Texas home. I went to high school at Trinity Valley and studied Biology at Austin College in Sherman Texas. I trained at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. After dental school, I completed a 1 year General Practice Residency at Olin E. Teague VA Hospital in Temple, Texas.
In November 1998, I proudly opened my dental office in Mira Vista. I have been honored with the privilege to get know so many wonderful patients and sometimes cannot believe we have been here for so many years!
My second passion in life is aviation. I earned my private pilot's license in 1993, my instrument rating in 2003, and my commercial and twin engine ratings in 2008. My wife and I have a small single engine plane we enjoy taking on small trips.

My role at Mira Vista Dental is to consult on all medical issues that impact dental health. Primarily I consult and run our Sleep Apnea Treatment Program. After graduating from Texas A&M, I studied at Case Western University in the Nursing Doctorate program. I Earned a Masters in Nursing and National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Case Western in January 2000.
I am passionate about patient education and will be the one who will most likely answer your emails overnight and on weekends. Please do not hesitate to use the service if you have any questions. I strongly believe an informed patient makes the best health care decision for themselves.
Katie Redman, Hygienist
I am a patient oriented dental hygienist. I strongly believe that a healthy mouth can improve overall health. I enjoy interacting with patients and helping to identify and meet their oral health needs. I have a passion for patient education and gum disease prevention.
Every cleaning is an opportunity to learn about the health of your teeth and gums. I can let you know of any problem areas so that we can work on them together to prevent any problems. I love answering questions, so if you have any please dont hesitate! Education is the key to gaining and keeping a healthy mouth.
As a caring professional, I continually strive to provide the finest and most gentle care for my patients. We have two systems for cleaning your teeth, just let me know which is the most comfortable for you. I am also certified in Nitrous Oxide administration if you prefer to be more relaxed during your cleanings.

Lauren Casperaites, Assistant
My name is Lauren Casperaites. I am Dr. Ellis’ dental assistant. After our daughter was born, my husband encouraged me to go back to school. After careful thought I realized I could pursue my passion to help others through dentistry. I graduated from the Texas Academy of Dental Assisting with a full appreciation and love for oral health.
I truly enjoy interacting, educating, and assisting with every single one of our patients. I take pride in serving others to the best of my ability. It is my hope to help provide you with the highest quality experience during your visit.
During my free time I love spending quality time with my husband and daughter. All three of us enjoy the sunshine and being active, but we also appreciate time to sit around together and enjoy a good book.
As a family we dedicate time to serving our community and giving back to those in need through the Angel Tree Charity.
- Iris Quintero, Office Administration My name is Iris Quintero. I get to meet each and every patient as they come into the office and I love my job. I love working with such a great awesome staff. Starting with Dr. Ellis and his wife Sundie Ellis they have been such a huge blessing for me and my family. I am really blessed to have met them. The girls are sweet and easy going and make it fun to work with. I enjoy greeting, communicating, and engaging with our patients. Understanding the patient’s needs and attending to them is my goal. I was born in Bakersfield California and moved to Fort Worth Texas in 2006 to have a better life. I live with my parents and have 2 handsome brothers and 1 beautiful sister which I love. I am the oldest. I graduated from North Crowley High School in 2013 and from Dental Assisting School the same year. It was then that I realized the dental administrative part of the office was a great fit for me.
