Dental Implants

If you have gaps in your smile, whether it’s due to one missing tooth or more, Dr. Ellis specializes in permanent tooth restoration using dental implants!

Dental implants are a long-lasting and natural-looking solution that utilizes titanium posts implanted into the jawbone where luminous crowns can then be attached. Since they require no dietary restrictions and they’re built to last for life, implants are a popular choice for patients who require some help getting their ideal smile back.

We offer the following dental implant systems:

  • Single
  • Hybridge
  • Hybrid
  • Mini
  • Implant-Retained Overdentures

Bone Grafting

If you suffer from periodontal disease, Dr. Ellis may suggest promoting bone growth in the jaw with bone graft surgery, also known as natural bone regeneration. After you undergo this specialized treatment, your jaw bone will begin to regenerate and strengthen itself enough to support a dental implant.

Gingival Grafting

Some patients experience gum recession that can lead to exposed root surfaces on the teeth, affecting the appearance of their smile as well as their overall oral health. With gingival grafting, Dr. Ellis can fill in these areas with new tissue taken from another area of the mouth, typically the palette. This procedure can prevent further gum recession and boost the appearance of your smile!

Crown Lengthening

By removing excess gum tissue and possibly some bone, Dr. Ellis can make your teeth look longer. Crown lengthening can also be needed preceding crown placement if there isn’t enough surface area of the tooth exposed to secure the crown.

Tooth Extractions

Tooth extractions can be performed for a number of reasons, including when patients are experiencing pain and discomfort, or when patients have an infection caused by a severely damaged tooth. Before any extraction, Dr. Ellis will perform a comprehensive dental exam and take digital x-rays to determine the extent of the damage.
